The Five Principles

5 Weeks – Wednesdays, 6 to 8pm - October 2 - 30

This class will cover the Five Principles, they are an easy to understand guide to living a spiritual life. These Five Principles provide tools for daily living and suggests answers to the great questions of existence that humans have been asking since the dawn of conscious awareness. Questions such as What is this greater Presence that we sense around us? Who and what are we? Why do things happen in our lives the way they do? How can we communicate with this Presence? and What are we here to do? The five principles constitute the core teachings of the Unity spiritual movement founded in 1889 by Charles and Myrtle Fillmore. These same principles reflect the laws of the universe that apply to everyone, all the time. They are at the foundational core of the New Thought movement and are woven into the fundamental beliefs of Religious Science, Christian Science and Unity. We will discuss and learn how to work with the principles, test them, and apply them to our life. Required book: The Five Principals, A Guide to Practical Spirituality - ISBN-13: 978-0871593306
